About This Package
The Chamba Kailash Complete Tour is an 8-day deep-dive into the history, culture, religion, and natural beauty of the Chamba district. From the 7th-century stone temples to the sacred Manimahesh Lake, this tour covers every important destination in the district with expert commentary.
Itinerary
Day 1: Pathankot – Chamba
Arrive Pathankot. Scenic drive through Dalhousie and down to the Ravi river valley. Arrive in Chamba. Check in. Overnight.
Day 2: Chamba Culture Day
Visit Lakshmi Narayan temple complex, Bhuri Singh Museum, Rang Mahal palace, and the famous Chaugan ground. Overnight.
Day 3: Chamba – Pangi Valley Viewpoint – Bharmour
Drive via Saho and Tundah to viewpoints overlooking the dramatic Pangi Valley. Continue to Bharmour. Evening temple visit.
Day 4: Bharmour – Chaurasi Temples Full Day
Spend a full day with an expert temple guide exploring all 84 shrines. Learn about Nath Yogis who created this complex in the 7th century. Visit Manimahesh Temple, Lakshna Devi Temple with its exquisite bronze idol, and Nandi Mandir.
Days 5 and 6: Manimahesh Yatra
Day trek via Hadsar to Dhancho. Next morning complete trek to Manimahesh Lake. Full darshan and puja. Descend to Bharmour overnight.
Day 7: Bharmour – Khajjiar – Dalhousie
Scenic drive to Khajjiar and Dalhousie. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Day 8: Dalhousie – Pathankot Departure
Morning departure back to Pathankot. Tour ends.
