Manimahesh Yatra Radhashtami snan 2013 will be held on 12th Septemeber, 2013. Manimahesh Yatra is pilgrimage to Manimahesh Lake situated at base of Manimahesh Kailash Peak. Every year Manimahesh Yatra is held from Janamastmi to Radhastami. Radhashtami snan is considered most auspicious to take holy bath in Manimahesh lake. Pilgrimage to Lord Shiva in himalayas is considered one of most important pilgrimages in India. Destinations: Bharmour – Bharmani Mata Temple- Bharmour – Gaurikund -Manimahesh Lake -Gaurikund – Bharmour
Package Cost: Rs. 10000 per person. Rs. 100/Kg extra if weight of person above 90kg – Children above 2 years old – Rs. 7500/Child (no extra room for children)
Day 1 : Bharmour – Bharmani Temple- Bharmour
Arrive at Bharmour and check in the hotel. Tour to Bharmani Mata Temple by taxi ( If bad weather then by trek of 4 km with guide). Bharmani Mata temple is mainly known for Goddess Bharmani Mata. When Lord Shiva went to Manimahesh Kailash he granted a boon to goddess Bharmani Devi that all persons intending to go on pilgrimage to Manimahesh must have a dip in their holy pool. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2 : Bharmour – Gaurikund – Manimahesh – Bharmour
Early in the morning visit to famous historical Chaurasi Temple of Bharmour. After breakfast fly to Gaurikund by Helicopter and then trek to Manimahesh ( 1 Km without guide). Back to gaurikund by evening and fly back to Bharmour by helicopter. Stay at hotel
Day 3 : Departure from Bharmour after Breakfast.
